- Coordinate trades on commercial job site * Resolve construction problems as required * Monitor project schedules and be accountable on meeting project deadlines * Hands-on work (framing, drywall, concrete repairs, etc) * Expertise in reading blueprints. * Experience with interior fit-ups as well as new commercial building construction. * Possess highly developed problem solving/decision making skills. * Have a thorough, hands-on working knowledge of Building Codes. MPI encourages applications from minorities, women, the disabled and all other qualified applicants * 5-10 years of experience in a Site Superintendent role within a General Contracting firm * A minimum of 5 year’s of Site Superintendent experience in commercial, retail and/or institutional renovations * Experience with interior fit-ups as well as new commercial building construction. * Proficient knowledge in Site Development, Building Envelope, and civil for ICI facilities. * Experience in developing tools for improving accuracy and timeliness of estimating and cost tracking * Expertise in reading blueprints * Base building experience would be considered an asset. Our client is a mid-sized General Contractor that is continuously growing with a strong pipeline of projects for retail/commercial projects. Looking to bring on a Site Superintendent that can lead on commercial/institutional base builds and renovation projects.
