Job title: Construction Labourer (FT)
Job description: MatrixHR is currently recruiting Skilled Labour AND General Labour construction workers for an exciting client of ours located in Vancouver BC. We are looking for hard-working and reliable individuals to join the crew in building high-rise buildings in downtown Vancouver BC.
Pay Rate: $22.00/hr to $29.00/hr depending on level of experience
Duties:
- Perform physical labor on construction sites as directed by the supervisor
- Assist with the loading and unloading of materials and equipment
- Operate hand and power tools as necessary
- Clean and prepare construction sites by removing debris and hazardous materials
- Assist with the installation of construction materials such as pipes, beams, and concrete
- Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in construction or a related field is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with hand and power tools commonly used in construction
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and blueprints is a plus
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills on the job
- Physical stamina and ability to perform strenuous tasks in various weather conditions
Must-Have:
- CSTS,
- WHMIS
- Fall Protection is desired
