Job description: This builder is self performing this project for their parent company. They are looking for an experienced Project Manager with wood-frame experience to come and knock a townhome project out of the park!

ABOUT OUR CLIENT

This builder self performs for their parent company and takes on additional projects. The owners of the company established themselves as a subtrade and grew to developing and executing their projects. Much of their work is multi-family wood-frame however they also work significantly on commercial and institutional projects ranging from new build to tenant improvement.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

In this role, you will be managing a stacked townhome project set to start Q4 of this year. This is a 2-year long project that they will be self performing. You will be the main point of contact for this project and be heavily involved in communicating between the construction and development teams. The ideal candidate is a Project Manager who has prior stacked townhome or townhome above parkade experience.

ABOUT THE POSITION

In this role you will be office based and reporting to site as necessary. You will be reporting into the Director of Construction. Client communication is significant in this role. You will ensure that this project remains on schedule and runs smoothly from demolition to handover.

THE REQUIREMENTS

• 5 years experience as a Project Manager on wood-frame projects.
• Experience working with a self-performing developer is an asset.
• Software: Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam, MS Excel, Sage300, Salus.

COMPENSATION

• Salary: $120,000 – $140,000 experience dependent with annual salary review. Performance based bonus.
• Extensive benefits plan.
• 3 weeks vacation.
• RRSP Contributions.
• Vehicle and cell allowance.
