Job title: Construction Project Manager – Mid Rise

Job description: This is an excellent opportunity to join an established ICI general contractor/design build firm. The incumbent will oversee a ground up new build hotel project, nine storeys in scope.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the following:

• Manage the operations and trade / stakeholder relationships for the project
• Manage and establish the budget and schedule for their projects
• Maintain a high level of health and safety practices on site at all times
• Coordinate, manage and schedule all sub-trades for the project with the Site Superintendent
• Report project progress to key internal and external stakeholders
• All other duties as required

Join an established General Contractor|Work on High Profile Projects

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• 15+ years of experience working with established ICI general contractors
• Experience overseeing multiple full cycle commercial and industrial renovation and new build projects between $5M and $50M in scope, including warehouses, distribution centres and other light industrial building scopes
• Direct experience in multi-storey mid rise residential or hotel construction is required
• Post secondary college or university education, related to engineering or construction
• P.Eng, CET, Gold Seal and/or PMP designations will be assets
• Strong organizational, leadership and technical software skills
