Job description: The Special Projects division of a full-service construction company is looking for a Project Manager to join their team

ABOUT OUR CLIENT

This Special Projects division stems from a full-service, construction company with project types ranging from commercial, industrial, institutional (ICI), residential, and tenant improvement (TI), and sectors including health care and transit. They adopt a client service approach to their work to ensure that projects are supported and delivered successfully from conception to handover.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

As this special projects division continues to grow, they are looking for another Project Manager to join the team. In this role you will be managing new build and fit out projects up to $30,000,000 in value.

ABOUT THE POSITION

In this role, you will be managing projects from pre-construction through to completion from the Coquitlam office. In addition to ensuring smooth process and completion of projects, responsibilities will include:

• Document management
• Contract management
• Project planning (budget, schedule, site operations)
• Work with Project Coordinators and Administrators
• Liaising with trades and consultants.

THE REQUIREMENTS

• 5 years a Construction Project Manager
• Experience on projects $1M-$30M
• ICI (institutional, commercial, industrial) project experience is preferred.
• Post secondary construction education.

COMPENSATION

• Salary: $85,000 – $150,000 experience dependent.
• Profit sharing and bonus structure.
• Extended benefits.
• 3 weeks vacation + office shut down at Christmas.
• RRSP matching.
