ABOUT THE POSITION

• You will have oversight of all safety personnel on-site and play an active role in advocating for site health and safety. This involves ensuring the adherence to secure work practices and procedures while conducting thorough hazard assessments.
• You will be at the forefront of workplace inspections and, in the event of on-site incidents, you will take charge, handling all necessary documentation.
• Collaboration is a central aspect of your position. You’ll collaborate closely with the company’s Health and Safety Program and serve as the primary point of contact and liaison with WorkSafeBC.
• Your role calls implementing and upholding safety measures across the entire site.

THE REQUIREMENTS

• 2+ years of experience as a CSO
• CSO Certification
• First Aid Level 2 or higher
• Experience with commercial and industrial projects
• Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
• Strong organization and multi-tasking skills
• Familiarity with health and safety management software
• Open to travel to different sites across the Lower Mainland

COMPENSATION

• $35-$40/hour
• Full benefits with medical and dental
• 12% vacation pay
