Job description: A well recognized community developer is looking for a Construction Safety Officer (CSO), to join their team on large mixed-use developments.
ABOUT OUR CLIENT
The projects this developer creates are established and significant to community development. In addition to prominent projects in Canada, this developer also operates internationally in the United States and the United Kingdom. They currently have multiple projects in Burnaby, Surrey and Richmond that you could have the opportunity to be a part of.
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
In this role, you will have the opportunity to be a part of master plan projects and creating communities within the lower mainland. The Construction Safety Officer will ensure the safe delivery of these projects.
ABOUT THE POSITION
In this role you will be working on site making sure safety regulations are met maintained throughout construction. Some responsibilities may include first aid, orientations, checking trade tickets, inspections, and safety documentation.
THE REQUIREMENTS
- CSO (Construction Safety Officer) Certification.
- OFA (occupational first aid) Level 2 minimum
- Experience on site as a construction safety officer seeing projects from start to finish.
- Willing to go between Burnaby/Surrey/Richmond.
- Other tickets are an asset.
COMPENSATION
- $28.00 – $37.00 / hour (experience dependent)
**please note the above salary range is based on a 40 hour work week
- Health and Dental benefits.
- 2 weeks vacation.
