Qualifications
Excellent Blueprint Reading Skills
Experience in Carpentry, Concrete Footings, PWF Framing, General Framing, Basic Finishing, T & G Ceilings, Basic Trim Work, etc.
Understanding & Knowledge of all Related Trades & Materials in Home Construction
Ability to Organize Trades & Materials
Accountable for Costs, Quality Control, Scheduling, Etc.
Ability to Work Alone
Will Be Trained in the Installation of Log & Timber Frame Packages
Excellent Communication Skills
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
History of Leadership/Management positions
Responsibilities
This is a management position that is better defined by its responsibilities rather than its duties and you will be expected to treat it as such. The nature of the work will frequently necessitate you to work or travel away from home and outside the normal working hours and the company reserves the right to ask you to do that.
The primary responsibility to is to safely execute projects while maintaining, budgets and Lakelands high quality standards.
Some of the duties are, but not limited to:
Construction scheduling
managing and scheduling sub trades
Safety meetings and reporting
reporting project progress
Supervise and manage various trades people
Credentials
Drivers License
WHIMIS
First Aid
Working at Heights
Health & Safety Awareness
