Job description: The Rohit Group in Calgary is currently looking to add a full-time, permanent Construction Technician to our fast-paced growing team! This position requires someone who has a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn and grow within a team.

What will you do in this role?

• Maintain construction sites cleanliness and safety from garbage and debris, snow removal, sweeping and pressure washing.
• Ensure that access into and out of home sites are safe and clean (includes stairs, ramps, guardrails, sidewalks, and driveways).
• General labor functions such as site cleanup and maintenance as needed.
• Perform touch ups and repairs on deficiencies left by trades.
• Assist Site Superintendent and the Assistant with quality controls checks on framing, insulation, foundation, and pre-occupancy per company’s standard.
• Communicate with trades and suppliers by phone, email, or in person as instructed.
• Other related duties as required by the Site Superintendent or Assistant Site Superintendent.

What do we look for?

• 2 years of experience in residential construction.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Computer Savvy.
• Clean driver’s abstract.
• Willingness to learn.
