Matrix Camps and Logistics is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Contract Recruiter to join our team. As a Contract Recruiter, you will be responsible for managing the recruitment and selection process for various positions within our organization. In this 8-12 month term position, you will work closely with the in-house Matrix Recruitment Specialist and the HR team, as well as hiring managers to understand their needs, develop job descriptions, post job advertisements, source candidates, screen resumes, conduct interviews, and facilitate the hiring process. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in recruiting for a wide range of roles, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field is highly desired.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Recruiter, preferably in the construction, mining or other heavy industrial resource sectors is required.
• Experience with full-cycle recruiting, including job description development, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer negotiations.
• Knowledge of provincial and territorial employment laws and regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office and applicant tracking systems.
• Certification in recruitment or human resources is an asset.

Benefits:

Matrix offers a competitive wage of between $5,000 and $8,000 per month, dependent upon experience. This is a fully remote, 8-12 month term position, as such, the candidate must have home-based office space compatible to support a role like this.
