Job description: Thyssen Mining is a full service underground mining contractor working predominantly in North America. Thyssen Mining is looking for an energetic and detail oriented individual to join our team in the position of Contracts Facilitator at our head office in Regina, SK.

Reporting to the Manager of Technical Services, the Contracts Facilitator will be responsible for implementing and developing work flow processes and procedures for new and existing projects, managing timesheets, providing system reports, maintaining and updating electronic information systems, technical resumes and project descriptions, as well as distributing and filing all documentation and drawings. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of contracts and be responsible to submit invoices ensuring proper claims management policies and procedures are followed and be able to work alongside our team of professionals to assist with developing tenders.

The successful candidate will possess the following:
-Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role. Experience in the mining or construction industry is advantageous.
-Knowledge of software systems such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Access, Visio, and SharePoint.
-Experience with commercially available document control system (Ex: Aconex, Sharepoint, etc)
-Able to adapt and learn or accept as required.
-Strong team player with both technical and non-technical people.
-Must exhibit exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.
-Has a methodical and detail oriented approach to work practices.
-Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Passion and aptitude to train and share your experiences with others in related processes, procedures, and software.
-Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to deal effectively in a team environment.
