Prep Cook, PT
We are looking for part time Prep Cook to support our wonderful kitchen team in producing thoughtfully put together casual food for enjoyment in our cafes as well as in the home or office.
Our menu consists of salads, sandwiches, soups, baked dinners and pastries. Production in our commissary kitchen downtown at Dundas and University stocks our downtown cafes, while also fulfilling catering requests, wholesale and retail deliveries through courier & third party apps.
Our ideal candidate is punctual and energetic in the mornings, likes weekends and holidays off, takes pride in their work and is willing to learn and grow with us.
Job duties:
– Prep ingredients for quality food with care and consistency on weekday mornings
– Station prep and cleaning
– Dish washing
– Manage ingredients for a well stocked station
– Work cooperatively with the team by being good natured, flexible and trainable
Schedule:
Monday – Friday
6am – 10am – hours may vary
Sundays: TBD
