Job description: Reporting to the Director, the Essential Functions of the job are:
– prepares nutritious meals and snacks for enrolled children
– distributes food
– practices safe food handling techniques in food preparation and storage
– purchases all food and necessary supplies needed to provide food service
– maintains a safe and sanitary kitchen, pantry and storage areas; washes items used for food preparation
– attend training and other workshops as needed
– assists with other duties as assigned

Education and Experience:
– valid class 5 driver’s license and insured automobile in good working order is required.
– Food safe certification is required.
