Requirements:
Prior experience working with bacteriophages, annotating a bacteriophage genome, preparing a GenBank entry, using annotation software (GeneMark, PECAAN, Phamerator, Starterator, HHPred, BLAST) and familiarity with the SEA-PHAGES program are important assets. They must be a good communicator (in English and/or French) and have completed relevant courses.
Nature of Work:
The TA will assist in delivering a bacteriophage genome annotation lab and will manage a section with 13-16 students.
