Position Summary

We are looking for a Business Intelligence Intern based at our Montreal location for the months of May to August 2021. This role will be responsible to design, develop and maintain new BI reports and dashboards using the Business Objects WEBi and Power BI tools.

A day in the life of…

As a Business Intelligence Intern, you will be working in our B2B Sales Department to support our strong growth and better serve our sales team in terms of data insights. The intern will assist on various projects including designing reports (Business Objects WEBi reports / SAP Hana) and dashboards (PowerBI) that fulfil user needs on a daily basis. The role requires a high degree of attention to detail as well as the curiosity to learn about our B2B sales operations.

What will make you successful

As the successful candidate, you will be highly organised, pro-activity, and enthusiastic towards the projects you complete. You will also:

• Currently enrolled in a 2nd, 3rd or 4th year undergraduate program in IT, Business Analytics Degree, or Computer Science Program
• Bilinguism is mandatory French & English (spoken & written)
• Involvement in extracurricular activities which demonstrate initiative and leadership.
• Desired Power BI dashboard experience;
• Strong computer proficiency (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)Database Relationships/Modeling: Primary Keys, Understanding One-to-One, One-to-Many, and Many-to-Many etc..
• A result and detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills.
• A proactive creative thinker who can generate new ideas/solutions to meet internal and external requirements
• Fast learner, and must be comfortable working within a dynamic, challenging environment.
• Have strong interpersonal skills with exceptional verbal communication skills.
• Experience with a data science programming language (R/Python/SQL etc) is considered an asset
