Job Description & Summary A career within Delivering Deal Value will provide you with the opportunity to help clients achieve maximum value on their deal transactions by solving transformational and other complex challenges. We focus on all operational aspects of a transaction, pre and post completion. We conduct pre deal and confirmatory due diligence, execute large-scale enterprise wide integrations, and support complex divestitures and separations on a wide range of functional and cross-functional areas.

What you’ll create and do

As a Senior Associate, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution.

Identify operational enhancement opportunities to rapidly increase performance supported by data analysis

Partnering with companies in delivering on execution of improvement opportunities

Provide robust project management and monitoring of change programmes and related benefits

Support the development of growth plans, channel strategies and product strategies for clients to enable them to grow their business and maximize their enterprise value

Assist in developing the future strategy, business model and cost reduction targets as well as implementation plans to rapidly deliver on cost reduction initiatives

Identify key opportunities to drive immediate cash control and management, to improve and stabilize the business while addressing the core issues

Identify quick wins to improve earnings and build stakeholder confidence

Help client management develop and implement a turnaround or transformation programme

What you’ll bring to this role

An interest in upskilling for a digital world and technology trends, an openness to learning new tools and adapting how you work

A demonstrated commitment to valuing differences and working alongside diverse people and perspectives

Experience with business strategy, strategy deployment programs or strategic transformation programs

Bilingual French & English communication skills, both verbal and written

Operations work experience, across one or more sectors: engineering and construction, retail, industrial, consumer, energy & utilities or logistics

Advisory experience from a management consultancy, or as an ‘internal consultant’ in a multinational corporate is an asset

Experience with operational improvement programs is an asset

Strong analytical skills; ability to conduct analysis with spreadsheets, financial and operational KPIs, to create sustainable value for clients

Financial analysis – proven P&L analysis, cash flow and balance sheet work

Strong communication and presentation capability (reports, powerpoint presentations and other deliverables)

Willing to travel occasionally throughout Canada, with the potential to travel outside of Canada, depending on client requirements. Candidates must be able to enter the USA to work on client assignments
