What You’ll Do
- Inspire, develop & lead a team of analytics consultants that will work closely with the business, identify opportunities, and execute analytic deep dives on key topics.
- Oversee resources, staffing, budgets well as the enhancement & maintenance of a best-in-class team.
- Form strong partnerships with the business ensuring that analytics is deeply supporting functional areas, helping inform their strategies and generating a clear ROI from our team’s efforts.
- Participate in strategic planning and operational processes of the business organization as a member of the senior management team, specifically contributing to the development of strategies and methodologies to integrate and optimize business processes.
- Develop analytical methodologies & scalable playbooks to enable analysts to quickly analyze typical questions across various domains – eCommerce sales, marketing, operations, logistics, vendor management, pricing, merchandising and digital analysis.
- Apply best practices to measure the business impact of strategic initiatives across various LOBs.
- Design and coach the team on analytical project lifecycle from in-take through to delivery ensuring that processes are clear, transparent and consistent across the team.
- Identify, select and implement appropriate tools and best practices that will ensure the productivity of the team.
- Lead project delivery and guide development from inception managing resources, timelines and budgets.
- Drive analytics innovation and thought leadership bringing ideas and inspiration from academia and industry.
- Partner with the Data Engineering team to identify data gaps and/or opportunities to improve our data asset.
- Partner with the Business Intelligence (BI) team to champion data democratization and effective development, usage & governance.
What you’ll bring
- 10+ years’ relevant experience delivering data-driven insights across marketing, customer, operational, financial, and digital analytics.
- 5+ years’ experience building, developing and leading analytical teams.
- Post-secondary degree in computer science, math/statistics, data & analytics, operational research or a similar quantitative field.
- Applied experience in the development and deployment of BI & AI/ML enterprise solutions.
- Strongly proficient with SQL, Python, R, Tableau / PowerBI.
- Demonstrated track record of building and scaling high performing analytical teams.
- Expert data storytelling skills – ability to communicate insights and recommendations to technical, non-technical & senior level audiences.
- Curious, self-motivated, agile, business focused and driven to think out-of-the-box.

Compensation
We are committed to transparency in our hiring process. The expected salary range for this role is between $130,000 to $160,000 depending on various factors including experience, skills, training and certifications, market demands, and organizational needs. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level and location.
