Key Responsibilities

  • Perform daily maintenance and safety checks on equipment
  • Operate equipment while maintaining proper awareness of ones surroundings
  • Grease and check oil and fluids for all equipment
  • Perform traffic control duties when needed
  • Sweeping sidewalks
  • Shoveling/raking
  • All other duties as required

Qualification

  • Road construction experience is considered an asset
  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience operating a Skid Steer
  • Experience with cat controls is an asset
  • Ability to work overtime is required
  • Capable of operating multiple pieces of equipment in a safe and appropriate manner
  • Knowledge of paving and paving processes
  • Must be able to meet all safety requirements
  • Ability to perform manual labour tasks
