We are currently recruiting for Equipment Operator (Zoom Boom/ Skid Steer) for the Humber Sewage Pumping Station project in Toronto!
As an Operator you will:
Handle and distribute construction materials (load and unload vehicles with supplies, equipment and construction materials; move tools, equipment and construction materials to and from work areas; remove rubble and other debris)
Excavate, back fill and compact sub-grade (move and level earth using shovels and rakes; operate tampers)
Place, consolidate and cast in place concrete or masonry structures (shovel concrete and other materials into concrete mixers; mix, pour and spread concrete; use concrete vibrators)
Assemble and dismantle scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring and barricades at construction site
Operate jackhammer and drills to break up concrete or pavement
Provide support for other trades as required
Requirements:
- Must have valid certificates for operation of Zoom Boom/ Skid Steer
- Must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience operating equipment
- Drivers License
- 4 Step Safety Certificate & WHMIS Certification
- Rigging ticket – an asset to have
