We are seeking Estimating students for our Richmond Office, within our Canadian Buildings Division that is available for 4 months starting in January 2024. This position will be under the direct supervison of the Chief Estimator.

Here’s how an Estimating Student for our BC Region office contributes to our team:

Responsibilities

• Get the chance to be a part of something bigger working closely with our chief / lead Estimator while performing assigned quantity surveys.
• Be responsible for performing bid day assignments and overall bid document control. Everyone at PCL takes ownership and that includes students.
• Be a point of contact and gather information from our subtrade partners. You will be involved in our estimating process every step of the way.
• Get to visit our some of our impressive projects and job sites and always know that you helped build that!

Qualifications

• A strong desire to work in a construction environment and prior field construction experience will be considered an asset.
• Application of various computer software programs will be required, including word processing, spreadsheet applications and drafting.
