Job Responsibilities
– Complete take-offs/estimate for assigned projects
– Follow up on multi-scope or single-scope projects
– Attend pre-bid & post-bid meetings
– Complete work orders & prepare material order sheets
– Maintain directory of product suppliers
– Order various estimating documents (bid bonds, insurance documents, etc.)
– Consult, communicate, and build rapport with internal departments
– Prepare construction progress schedules
– Negotiate extras for all applicable revisions and prepare necessary documentation
– Coordinate the investigation and resolution of disputes, defects and back charges
– Follow-up with on-site problems with operations team
– Visit job sites
– Other duties as required

What We Are Seeking
– Ability to read specs and drawings
– Post secondary education in a construction program (ie. Architectural Technology, Construction Management, Construction
Engineering, etc)
– Microsoft Excel
– Attention to detail
– Great communication skills
– General building envelope knowledge
– Sales Skills
– Background in building science
– Basics of AutoCAD
