Position: Floater – CTV Ottawa
Job Status: Regular- Part time
Location: 87 George Street, Ottawa
Salary: In accordance with Collective Agreement – Unifor 715M (Group C)
Hours of Work: As required
Responsibilities:
- Performs all studio operations functions including but not limited to:
- Technical Production Coordinator
- VTR Injest Coordinator/Editor
- ENG Camera/Editor
Qualifications:
- Successful completion of a media broadcast program from an accredited post-secondary institution
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a live studio control room position
- Broad general knowledge of television technical theory in a digital environment
- Demonstrated leadership qualities and ability to function as a supervisor/team leader
- Ability to function in a results and deadline driven environment
- Strong ability with editing and camera operator
- strong interpersonal skills
Bilingualism is an asset (English and French); adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
