To continue our tremendous success and unparalleled growth, we are searching for qualified and ambitious individuals to perform a variety of manual tasks to ensure smooth branch operation. Looking for a motivated candidate to keep up to the demanding and high paced winter heating season. Advancement in the apprenticeship program possible for the right individual.

Responsibilities will include:

• Install, service, maintain and tear down temporary heating systems
• Working with propane and natural gas systems.
• Servicing and maintaining construction heaters.
• Loading and unloading equipment. Operating 1 and 2 tonne picker trucks.

Requirements:

– Must be a registered 2nd or 3rd year Gasfitter apprentice with AIT or hold a valid recognized credential.

– Must have class 5 license and clean driving record.

– Applicant must have ability to work on his own and in a team setting.

– Experience in temporary construction heating is needed.

– Must have the ability to work overtime hours including on call shifts and possible weekends.

This position is deemed Safety Sensitive for purposes of United Rentals’ policies and procedures.
