Dispatch/Gate Monitors needed immediately in Oakville

$23/hr – Day shift

$24/hr – Afternoons & Night shifts

Monday to Friday

Responsibilities:

• Checking in transport trucks
• Cutting seals from trailers
• Enter paperwork and do circle check of trailers
• Dispatch communication with shunt drivers and shippers
• Excellent opportunity to gain Logistics skills
• Will train on inbound, outbound gates and dispatch (will work in all three)

Requirements:

• Must have at least 6 months of Data Entry experience (references required)
• Must be flexible to train on all shifts (days, afternoons, nights) and then flexible to work afternoons or nights following training
• Union position – shifts are determined by bid process
• Must be comfortable working in the gate house, communicating and interacting with drivers
• Enjoy working as part of a team and be confident working under pressure
• Must have own transportation (not accessible by public transit)
