Job description: A well known industry leader in manufacturing is looking for some highly enthusiastic assemblers to work on 2nd shift. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with their hands and is wanting to learn a new trade. The ideal candidate has previous experience as a assembler or experience in a related position in manufactruing. Position: General Assembler Location: Ontario Compensation: $15.50 to $17.00 (DOE) Type: Full time Temp to Hire Schedule: 2:00pm to 10:30pm Mon to Fri

Responsibilities * Operate production equipment or perform manual assembly as needed

• Performs work by referring to work instructions and operator training.
• Must be capable of using all necessary power and hand tools to assemble units.
• Other duties as assigned, following union agreement and applicable labor laws.
• Must be able to speak, read and write English.
• Experience with operation of manufacturing equipment in a production environment
• Ability to work with hand tools if needed
• Ability to receive instruction and follow work instructions
• Must be self-motivated

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment
• wearing steel toe shoes
• working in a non-temperature controlled environment
• standing for 8 hours at one time
• working up to 2 hrs of overtime per week
