Express Employment Professionals is currently searching for a General Laborer on behalf of our client who has several businesses in the Halifax area. The role has full-time hours and leads to permanent employment for successful candidates. Our client is growing, and this is a great opportunity for growth with a great organization.

Responsibilities:

· Unloading and loading materials

· Complete shipping and receiving tasks

· Palletize and wrap items being shipped

· Participate in health and safety and continuous improvement initiatives

· Accurately picking the correct materials for each order

· Answering customer questions

· Loading trucks

· Operate the electric pallet jack in a safe manner

Requirements:

· Valid Class 5 license – considered an asset

· Able to lift 50 lbs

· Experience working with customers considered an asset

· Previous forklift experience or a ticket is an asset

· A team player willing to work in a fast-paced environment

Our client offers:

· Shifts available are Monday-Friday: 7:00am-4:00pm, 8am – 4:30pm, 2pm-10:30pm, 4pm-12pm, 4pm to 2:30am

· Full-time permanent job

· NO WEEKENDS!

· Competitive pay range is $17-$18/hr based on experience

· Benefits after the probationary period
