At our plant in beautiful Campbell River, British Columbia, our talented team of 25 full-time staff specializes in designing and building custom aluminum boats. Well represented across the globe, our company is proud to have built over 800 aluminum quality vessels ranging from pleasure crafts to commercial work boats.
Job Description
The General Labor employee works to ensure that company property, building, vehicles and tools are Safe, Secure, Operational, Organized, Clean.
Demonstrate safe work practices. Comply with safety standards required by the company and regulatory bodies.
Safely operate equipment and vehicles related to the job’s needs.
Maintain property organization, cleanliness, and general upkeep.
Perform scheduled and as-needed maintenance/inspection/calibration/repairs according to machinery specifications.
Complete general shop duties as assigned (deburr aluminum, move material, unload/organize deliveries, clean boats, etc)
Assist production or other departments, as needed.
Qualifications
Relevant experience in a manufacturing/shop/construction environment preferred.
Technical certificates and/or professional certifications (crane, forklift, Worksafe training, welding, painting, carpentry)
Valid driver’s license required.
Continuous physical effort is required (standing, walking, stooping, climbing, grasping/reaching. Lifting/moving items up to 75 pounds.

· Base pay rate depends on experience.
