Job Description and Responsibilities:

The General Labourer is responsible to bundle product, pack product into cases, put cases onto a skid, strip waste, lift material, feed machinery, wrap and clean work area.

Shift:

  • This is a FULL-TIME, permanent position that will work 5-Days per week, Monday to Friday.
  • The work schedule is from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm.

Skills and Requirements:

  • Legally entitled to work in Canada.
  • Heavy Lifting is required. Repeatedly lift 50-pound boxes. Occasionally boxes as heavy as 75-pounds
  • Heavy lifting from the ground to waist level and back, as well as occasionally above waist level
  • Must be able to safely lift heavy boxes at a steady pace.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Works well cooperatively with others.
  • Physically able to stand for extended periods
  • Reasonable English speaking and comprehension.
  • CSA approved steel-toed boots are required. The company provides hearing protection.

Compensation:

  • $15.50-$16 per hour depending on experience.
  • Benefits after three months’ probation.
