Our client, located in the East End, is currently looking for a hardworking and reliable General Labourer / Helper to join their team on a Full-Time permanent basis. If you enjoy hands on work, being on the road and working outdoors, this is the perfect position for you.

Required skills and qualifications:

• Previous experience in a similar position
• Must have own vehicle
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• MUST be comfortable working extended hours / overtime as required
• Ability to work independently/in a team
• Ability to listen to instructions
• Must be willing to work outdoors year round
• Must have proper personal protective equipment (Steel-toed work boots)
• MUST have a good attitude and good work ethics

Assets:

• Previous experience working in the construction and/or landscaping industry
• Previous experience operating a forklift

Duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Helping the driver to set up job sites – Setting up hoses, pylons, etc.
• Abiding by health and safety rules – Will be trained on TDG, will be provided with all of the required personal protective equipment
• Lifting manholes with picking tool
• Lifting up to 50lbs
• Other duties as assigned

The wage for this position starts at $22.81 per hour.

Regular hours: Monday – Friday – Start time varies between 6:00am and 7:00am – Shifts approximately between 8 – 10 hours long – Must be comfortable working overtime when needed. (Schedule can fluctuate between 6:00am – 6:00pm)
