General Manager: 15 – 20 hours per week

Our Halifax-based client is seeking a seasoned business and financial executive to oversee the operations and contract management of several facilities within a P3 context. You will work independently to ensure all capital projects, maintenance and service requirements, facilities management and expenditures are well managed, on time and on budget. You will also build and maintain good working relationships with a small but highly capable staff, as well as a wide array of stakeholders including contractors, engineering firms, government agencies and tenets. This role offers good flexibility as it will require approximately 15 – 20 hours per week and includes an attractive compensation package for the best candidate.

Ideally, you have a successful track record and many years of experience in managing overall business and financial operations within an entrepreneurial environment. You are self-motivated and highly proficient in a variety of functional areas such as operations, finance, stakeholder relations and customer service, and you have superior leadership, communication and interpersonal skills. Your organizational skills enable you to manage competing priorities and challenges and to excel at anticipating and positively responding to evolving requirements and timelines. Construction or facilities management experience would be an asset.
