About our Community
Based near Fraser Lake and only a one and a half-hour drive from Prince George, the Nadleh Whut’en First Nation has a current population of over 500 people with over half living on the Reserve. We are the ‘people who live where the salmon return’ having lived on our lands since time immemorial. The clans that make up our people within the Nadleh Whut’en are the Lhtseh’yoo (frog), Dunstem’yoo (bear), Luksilyoo (caribou), Lhtsumus’yoo (owl, grouse), Tsayoo (beaver).
We, like other indigenous peoples, have persevered and continue to remember and retell the stories of our ancestors. Today we are thriving and experiencing continued growth; if you believe you have the skills to help us continue to grow then we invite you to read on.
