Your Day to Day:
- Coach sales team on proper closing techniques through training and active participation, and lead profitability of your teams
- Lead all showroom activities and maintain an experienced level of product and program knowledge as the senior sales leader on staff
- Conduct daily lot walks and training to educate the staff on dealership needs and expectations, while closely monitoring details to identify areas for improvement
- Hire, motivate, and monitor the performance of New and Used team, Internet Sales, Finance Managers and Service Drive Advisors to bridge the gap between departments creating a seamless customer lifecycle
- Conduct daily and weekly sales training meetings for Sales and Product Specialists
- Mentor new and experienced sales reps on standard methodologies for improving performance
- Ensure proper follow up of all prospective buyers by developing, implementing, and monitoring a CRM system
- Establish delivery procedures, monitor performance, execution, and corresponding metrics with the goal of ensuring OEM and dealership CSI standards are met and exceeded
- Guarantee delivery includes an introduction to the service department and scheduling of the first service appointment
- Achieve forecasted goals and objectives for dealership and OEM sales, gross, and key expenses on a monthly and annual basis
What You Bring to the Table:
- Minimum 5 years progressive dealership sales management experience required
- F&I experience is an asset and highly desired
- CDK, e-leads or automotive software systems experience is an asset
- A valid driver’s license & safe driving history is required
