Job title: Grounds Laborer – Emerald Lake Lodge

Job description: Duties and Responsibilities:

Must have full valid driver’s license and a clean driving record

To keep all sidewalks, roads, and stair areas free of ice and snow.

Removing snow from patio, and cleaning snow from room balconies.

Knocking icicles from the roof and windows

To assist with snow removal by hand with a shovel, driving snow removal equipment and removal of snow from roofs

To assist with clearing snow off cards

check equipment daily

To be flexible with working a variety of shifts depending on snow fall

Removing snow from cabin roofs and flat roofs

To be working on grounds with assisting with general maintenance in staff accommodation

To pick up litter around lodge property

To take recycling and garbage to appropriate locations

Handling wood, piling, stacking, delivering

To perform snow removal by hand with a shovel, and heavy equipment

To perform other duties that may be assigned Job Requirements/Qualifications:

Grade 12 Diploma

Must have driver license and clean driving record

Must have the ability to climb a ladder to clear cabin roofs

Some maintenance labor experience is an asset

Must be flexible to work all shifts

• Salary/Wage: $17
