Job description: Queen City Logistics Ltd. located at Unit 7, 1030 Kearns Crescent, Regina, SK S4K0A1 is presently seeking for a Head Dispatcher. Applicants to have post-secondary certificate/diploma. Candidates with dispatching experience are preferred. Applicant should be fluent in English. This is a full time position. We will also consider applicants who are willing to work part time. The salary will be $25.50 – $28.00 per hour, depending on experience. Following are some of the duties:

– Plan, organize and oversee dispatch operations, establish work schedules and procedures
– Track, record and mange deliveries of goods and material
– Plan, manage and schedules routes for Long-haul Drivers
– Resolve work-related issues, prepare and submit progress and other reports
– Supervise and ensure the loads are delivered on a timely basis
– Ensure smooth operation of computer systems and machinery and arrange for maintenance and repair work
– Educate workers in job duties, safety procedures and company policies
