Job description: Are you a Registered Nurse looking for part-time casual work? Are you interested in working in a post-secondary environment? Red Deer Polytechnic is looking for a Registered Nurse to join our Health, Safety and Wellness team on a casual basis.

Reporting to the Manager of Health, Safety & Wellness, the Health Nurse(s) are responsible for providing clinical nursing service coverage to students, faculty, staff, contractors and visitors in the Health, Safety and Wellness Centre (HSW) on a walk-in or appointment basis.

The Health Nurse will disseminate health services information and provide both assistance and educational resources regarding individual health needs; maintain a variety of health records; determine health education/promotion needs and develop action plans; and perform other related duties as assigned.

In collaboration with other members of the Health, Safety and Wellness team, the Health Nurse will champion the health, safety and wellness of all students and employees.
