Job description: Idea Exchange is seeking an information librarian who is tech-savvy, curious and loves connecting with people.

Our Information Services Librarians deliver expert customer service to our members – whether it’s answering reference questions, recommending the next great read, or providing technical support on all kinds of devices and software. As an information specialist, you will have the opportunity to connect with members of the community, and to develop and lead programs.

To be qualified for the role, you should have a Masters of Library and Information Science (or equivalent) from an accredited library school coupled with exceptional people skills and a willing attitude to take on new tasks and projects. A passion for learning new technology and assisting others with technology is essential.

This is a permanent, part-time position working approximately 32 to 36 hours in a bi-weekly period. This position will require working at multiple locations. The starting schedule is as follows and is subject to change:

*During the summer months when Sundays are closed, these hours will be reduced.
