The Procurement and Supply Division (PSD) is responsible for providing leadership in advising, establishing, and managing B.C.’s strategic contracts for procurement and supply across government. Consisting over 400 staff across eight cities, PSD staff ensure contracts meet client needs and deliver high-quality and valuable resources across all B.C. ministries and the broader public sector.
As one of the foundational elements of the BC Procurement Strategy, replacing the 20+ year old BC Bid system will address system risks and establish the modern tool vendors expect to access and respond to government procurement opportunities. Implementation of the new BC Bid will transform our service delivery model for the division as it is a core element of our client-focused procurement functions.)

Job Requirements:
In order to be considered for this position, your application must clearly demonstrate how you meet the education and experience as outlined below:
- Degree or diploma in computer science field, or Information Management, or Information Technology field. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Minimum of three years of experience performing business analysis, work plans, and web design and development.
Minimum of two years of experience in EACH of the following:
- Experience with automated testing software.
- Experience with test methods and processes (e.g. writing test strategies/test plans, setting up test environments, regression testing, performance testing, defect management).
- Experience providing quality assurance for enterprise-class web-based software solutions web services and APIs interacting with relational databases and SaaS based applications.
- Experience leading teams, interpreting technical information, and articulating system-related information to individuals at all levels of an organization.
- Experience managing professional service contracts.
- Experience creating test plans and test cases.
Preference may be given to applicants with one or more of the following:
- Experience working in an agile development environment and using tools such as Jira to manage and report out on work.
- CSTP/ISTQB certification.
