Ideally, a qualified Jr. Operations Manager will have experience in the different facets: sales, marketing, administration, operations, and human resources. Must be open to both working in the field with our Field Teams, as well as excel in managing their office work. Must be available to work weekends.

Location: Victoria BC

The Jr. Operations Manager will be directly responsible for (but not limited to) the following goals, plans, and key initiatives:

  • Assist Operations Manager & General Manager exceed weekly, monthly, and yearly revenue targets
  • Assist Operations Manager to oversee training for new truck team members
  • Work in-field, performing Truck Team tasks, as needed
  • Supervise and assist in the daily fulfillment of scheduled jobs to ensure on-time service
  • Assist in preparation of employee work schedules
  • Provide input to the Operations Manager & General Manager to build and implement new systems and processes
  • Assist with Operations Manager with fleet maintenance; including inspections, regular maintenance, and repairs
  • Ensure compliance with all franchise health and safety requirements
  • Continuously drive and develop a positive culture among the field staff

Qualifications and Skills:

  • A positive “Let’s Get it Done” attitude
  • Genuine belief in our Core Values – Passion, Integrity, Professionalism, and Empathy
  • 2 yrs+ in a similar leadership/management role in a general labor service industry
  • G-Suite, Google Drive (docs & sheets) experience is a plus
  • Ability to lead by example in the field performing service to our customers
  • Excellent multi-tasking and time management skills.
  • A strong desire and ability to motivate others to excel and hit goals.
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
  • Enjoy both physical work and office work equally.
  • Flexible with work schedule depending on seasons and staffing levels.
  • A valid and clean driver’s license.
