In this role, you will:

  • Assists with the management of land development contracts, schedules and budgets to ensure serviced land is delivered as per established schedules and contract tender.
  • Assists with the tender, evaluation, award and administration of earthworks, site servicing, road and landscaping contracts.
  • Assist with developing servicing schedule to support house construction commencement and commitments to home closing dates.
  • Supporting Land Development Servicing Manager in day to day project management of the development at various stages of the project lifecycle through to subdivision assumption by the City.
  • Coordinate and communicate with contractors on project sites and ensure coordination and communication with Minto Construction team.
  • Assists with the management of appropriate records of approvals, engineering and landscaping plans, grading plans, permits, letters of credits, etc. for projects.
  • Assist with Value Engineering exercises to ensure projects are delivered as efficiently as possible without compromising quality.
  • Contribute to and enhance our customer’s home buying experience as part of the Minto team.
  • Act as the company’s representative on project sites with both internal and external partners and customers.
  • Other duties within the scope, spirit and purpose of the job, as requested by management.

We would like you to have:

  • Education: Post-secondary degree in Civil Engineering, Land Use Planning, or related field.
  • Experience: One (1) to Two (2) years of previous residential land development experience
  • Requirements: Valid “G” driver’s license or equivalent and use of a vehicle for business purposes
  • Specialized Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
  • Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook, MS Project)
  • Working knowledge with AutoCAD, Adobe Illustrator
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
  • Organizational and time management skills with ability to meet structured deadlines
  • Analytical, research and report writing skills
  • Knowledge of development process preferred
