LOCATION: Optional for the right candidate to work from home anywhere in Canada.

Your role within the Centralized Lending team is vital to Fairstone’s commitment to be best-in-class service for our customers, as our customers are at the center of everything we do. You will support customers and internal/external partners with a variety of sales and service of our loan products through inbound, outbound calls and digital channels.

Your work life:
- Guaranteed 20 hours a week
- Department flex hours:
- Monday to Friday 9am – 9pm
- Saturday & Sunday 9am – 9pm
What will you be doing:
- Handle all customer inquiries and applications coming through our different marketing channels, inbound, outbound and digital
- Understand and determine customer needs to recommend solutions specific to those needs while exercising discretion and confidentiality
- Achieve assigned goals and business objectives by promoting financial solutions and completing application and loan processes in a timely, compliant and accurate manner
- Connect personally with customers to effectively gather information during the loan application process to identify additional financial needs
- Be a team player by respecting coworkers, staying committed, and keeping everyone current on the status of your daily activities
- Servicing existing customers by reviewing accounts and available products to better serve them
Support various corporate strategic initiatives as needed by:
- Adjusting daily work activities to support the requirements of company initiatives
- Adapting to meet unique process flows, scheduling, expectations, technology, etc.
- Providing feedback to test, learn and refine processes/technology
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Business related post-secondary education, an asset
- 0 – 2 years of experience in sales and/or customer service
- Preference given to those with directly relevant sales/lending experience
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
- Adapts easily to new technology as required
- Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends to serve 9am to 9pm local time
- Authorized to work in Canada
- Ability to organize, prioritize and manage time in a fast-paced environment
- Must work well independently, as well as within a team environment.
- Strong sense of ethics
- Must have a professionally secured workspace and appropriate communication device and computer equipment
