The Home Restaurant in Maple Ridge is looking for a strong, experienced cook to be a part of our successful, energetic team. We pride ourselves in making our soups, desserts, daily features, etc. in house to provide our guests with great quality home cooking at a great value. The right candidate should have an excellent base of culinary knowledge and be a leader in a kitchen environment. A strong team player who can multitask and plan ahead would strive in this role. Similar experience in high volume restaurants would be a huge asset.

We maintain a positive work environment and have an excellent kitchen team that is focused to deliver quality food to our guests. As volume increases in the coming months, we are looking to bring aboard another skilled team member to help lead the kitchen through lunch & dinner services. The right individual needs to feel confident in their ability to call orders, quality check, and give direction to other members of the team.

This hire would primarily be working afternoons and evenings to deliver great quality food to our guests. A quick learner who can bring their unique skill set to our restaurant team, and can successfully work alone or with a team with personality and an eye for detail. When it gets busy, the right person can stay calm under pressure and deliver consistent quality to help lead the team to success.

Wages will be based on experience and will be discussed during the hiring process.

Hours: 35-40 per week

Job Types: Full-time

Salary: $17-$20 per hour + gratuity sharing
