Job description: The Role

As a Freight Club Logistics Coordinator, you’ll be the acting liaison between the shipper, the carrier, and our business clients. Reporting to the Manager, Customer Success & Logistics, you’ll be working to ensure all shipments are picked-up and received as scheduled. You are passionate about customer experience, and have a keen eye for detail.

The Team

Dubbed “the muscles” of Cymax, with our innovative predictive freight platform that searches for optimal routes based on delivery specs, we provide our clients with super shipping discounts to move freight products across North America. Helping our clients save time, resources and money is what we pride ourselves on!

What You’ll Do

• Oversee and ensure shipments have proper paperwork, registrations and leave timely
• Liaise between the carrier and the consignee or the internal representatives at Freight Club
• Troubleshoot when issues arise for orders in transit
• Act as the main customer service contact for any inquiries
• Provide chat and phone support for customers inquiring about their shipments
• Ensure product information communicated to the carriers are correct
• Point of contact of clients and carriers with regards to shipping inquiries
• Respond to vendor or carrier inquiries.
• Reviews the carrier selection to confirm if the best option is used.
• Escalate any IT issues when it comes to order processing.
• Assists with carrier invoice disputes.

Who You Are

• Lover of MS Excel and all the wonder it can do (pivot tables, v-lookups)
• Superior written and verbal communication
• Detail oriented, with a knack for spotting inconsistencies
• Focused on customer service and overall customer experience
• Background in logistics and/or shipping is an asset
