The Opportunity

Venturis is looking for a creative, outgoing, and team-oriented Marketing Administrator to join our team as a hybrid employee in Langley, British Columbia. The Marketing Administrator plays an integral supporting role to ensure marketing activities are executed to the best of your ability, with results measured and reported back to internal clients for ongoing fine tuning and optimization. This role requires a sound knowledge of compelling marketing messaging, websites (front end and back end), Google local search strategies, CRM concepts, database structures, and analytical and campaign management tools.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

As the Marketing Administrator your key responsibilities will include:

  • Support Marketing Coordinators and internal business units in implementing their annual strategic marketing plans
  • Write and design branded email blasts to end user and sub dealer contacts highlighting feature products and seasonal promotions
  • Continuously improve our online presence and organically build our audience using SEO best practices
  • Reporting of online presence analytics
  • Auditing and testing websites
  • Backlink and site speed audits
  • Referral traffic exclusions
  • Website monthly stats recording in CRM
  • Creating and managing online image libraries
  • Light graphic design and video editing
  • Local listing management via Google My Business

Required Skills & Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, knowledge, and competencies:

  • Diploma or degree (or working towards one) and/or experience in Marketing or a related field
  • Knowledge and understanding of SEO and SEM best practices
  • Experience with CMS website platforms (WordPress, Sitefinity, etc.)
  • Experience with SEO and website quality management programs (Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEM Rush, Moz, etc.)
  • Experience with developing marketing campaigns utilizing CRM systems an asset
  • Microsoft Office skills with a very high level of efficiency in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Working knowledge of Canva and Adobe Creative Suite applications including Photoshop, InDesign, and Premiere
  • Experience managing and collaborating with colleagues in project management systems (Asana)
  • Excellent problem solver with the ability to multi-task
  • Exceptional organizational skills and able to successfully move multiple projects towards completion simultaneously with multiple stakeholders
  • Tech savvy and knowledgeable about digital marketing trends
  • Self-directed and able to work efficiently with minimal supervision
  • Precise English writing, grammar, and punctuation skills
  • Impeccable communication abilities in all forms of written media and in meetings with colleagues in the marketing team and across departments within the company

The base pay range for this role is: $46,000 to $50,000 per year.

This is a hybrid role based in Langley, British Columbia.
