Your Responsibilities

As a marketing promotion advisor, you will/are responsible for supporting tactical plans involving shows, events and sponsorships for the Ag and Turf marketing/sales team. In addition, you will:

  • Coordinate, develop and execute on the regional shows and events
  • Manage regional sponsorship agreements that align with the sales and marketing objectives
  • Coordinate special promotional, educational and/or informational events for channel partners and/or customers, including, but not limited to trade shows, farm shows, fly-ins, meetings, product introductions
  • Coordinate with factories, channel partners and outside entities in the development and acquisition of resources required to support special events
  • Work within established unit budget
  • Maintain on-going communication with the different disciplines that will be involved in or share ownership of the promotional events

What Skills You Need

  • Understanding of basic marketing strategies.
  • Sales and Marketing Experience
  • Knowledge of Agriculture, products, and customers
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and/or tasks
  • Willingness to travel up to 75%
  • Willingness and ability to relocate for future opportunities

  • Knowledge of dealer/distribution network
  • University Degree
  • Bilingual

Education

  • University Degree in Agriculture, Business, Marketing, Engineering or related fields
  • College Diploma with 3-4 years relevant dealer/industry experience.
