WeighPack is seeking an experienced Industrial Mechanic Millwright to be responsible and assemble various packaging machinery projects. Must be able to communicate effectively and recommend the correct solutions to complete a task.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical assembly according to the standards and specifications of the client and the engineering department
• Assemble standardized mechanical units’ where extreme care
• Perform manufacturing projects within delays and allocated budgets while meeting established specifications
• Work closely with engineering on development
• able to think outside the box

Qualifications

• Five (5+) years’ of mechanical experience assembling of automated machinery
• Depth understanding of mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic functions
• Ability to troubleshoot
• Conventional machining
• Ability to interpret mechanical and electrical drawings
• Basic keyboarding skill and familiar with MS Office package
• Willingness to take initiative and ability to work independently with limited supervision
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to successfully handle a multi-tasked role
• A strong work ethic with a positive “can-do” attitude and one who takes pride in the quality of their work
