Location: Montréal, Qc.

Status: Regular Part Time (2 days), assigned to weekends

Salary: Commensurate with education and experience

Hours of Work: 16 hours per week. Overtime as required

Responsibilities:

• Shoot and edit material for all platforms
• Operate Live Equipment
• Carry out feed and play duties
• Assure equipment and vehicle are in good working order
• Research, book and conduct interviews, select clips
• Write news copy
• Contribute material to social media
• Adhere to editorial standards and guidelines
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Proven camera and editing skills
• Ability to work under tight deadline and prioritize multiple tasks
• Demonstrated organizational skills, ability to work independently under tight deadlines
• General knowledge of local news and issues
• Ability to deal with new and emerging technology
• Computer literacy and experience in iNews an asset
• Valid drivers’ licence and good record

Bilingualism is an asset (English and French); adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
