Position Summary
Interior Health’s Kamloops’ Home Health is inviting applications for the position of Occupational Therapist.

If you are an Occupational Therapist who takes pride in having a strong work ethic, excellent communication and a patient-centred approached to practice we would love to hear from you for our relief, full time opening in Kamloops.

As a Home Health Occupational Therapist you will be based out of the acute care site to assist with safe discharge planning of the clients moving back into community and will play in intrical part in the setting up of proper supports. You will provide in-home assessments, consultations, treatment and education to clients and their families. This is a role with autonomy as well as working collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team.

The position offers full time hours until February 2022, or the return of incumbent. It could lead to other Occupational Therapist opportunities in the Kamloops area. Days of work are Monday to Friday with weekends and statutory holidays off. Qualifications
Education, Training and Experience:

• Graduation from a recognized occupational therapy program.
• Current registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of British Columbia (COTBC). Eligible for membership in the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists or British Columbia Society of Occupational Therapists.
• Valid BC Driver’s license.
