Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead the operation staff
*10+ dispatchers, 150+ drivers
- Implement process improvement strategies to SOPs and policies for the team
- Impact customer service at a high level for transportations solutions – including addressing inquiries, resolving issues and maintaining strong relationships
- Work with the maintenance team to ensure the fleet has proper upkeep
- Communicate, assist and guide teams while maintaining retention levels, quality levels and managing any conflict resolution
Assets:
- Bachelors degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or equivalent experience
- Proven experience in a leadership role – within the asset-based industry
- Technologically proficient with transportation software and Microsoft Office
- Industry knowledge of rules/regulations/best practices
- Knowledge of load planning/route optimization
- Applied negotiation skills for contract management/vendor relationships
