Job title: Part-Time Cook

Job description: We are looking for a friendly, motivated, caring and energetic individual who likes being around children and working as part of a team to join the staff of Primary Daycare.

Duties will include:

– Assisting cook in kitchen during meal times
– Knowledge of nutrition and an ability to plan a menu
– Ability to work in a team environment,
– Good communication skills
– Cleaning and sanitizing
– other duties as needed

Job Requirements

Desired Requirements:
– Experience in food preparation

Mandatory Requirements:
– Criminal record and vulnerable sector check.
– Possession of or willingness to seek CPR and First Aid certificate.
– Possession of or willingness to obtain the Safe Food Handling course.

Job Hours:
– Monday to Friday
– Minimum of 15 hours per week; Open to negotiation.
