We are seeking a Front-end Web Developer to join our team. In joining our team at this stage, you would play a critical role in taking our existing Web product to the next stage in its evolution — we have an ambitious roadmap that requires some serious problem-solving to reach our vision. Alongside our web developers, mobile developers, and designers, you would be a key player on our team.

Note: This is a hybrid opportunity for someone based in Vancouver, BC. This is also a part-time role with the potential to become a full-time position (i.e. ideal for developers going back to school, professionals looking for flexibility for family arrangements, etc). Requirements

Who you are

  • You have 4+ years of web development experience
  • You have a minimum of 2+ years of professional experience working with Vue.js
  • Experience working with large-scale SPAs, front-end build tools (e.g. Webpack, Vite)
  • You’re able to clearly articulate your knowledge and reasoning to technical and non-technical team members
  • You question the status quo, take ownership of your work, and proactively identify and address issues and opportunities
  • You insist on using great tools — you’re excited to work in an open environment where you and your colleagues embrace change and new resources in order to achieve the ultimate goal
  • You obsess about the details and getting them right
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently

Bonus points for

  • Knowledge of AngularJS or React
  • Experience with Vuetify or other Material based frameworks
  • Experience using REST and GraphQL APIs
  • Experience with continuous integration and deployments using Docker or Vercel
  • Understanding of the Agile process
  • You have experience with SaaS products
  • Experience with bringing legacy into the future and helping us modernize our technology

What you’ll do

  • Drive and help shape the technical direction of our core product features and functionality
  • Work closely with our team of designers and developers to build exceptional features and experiences
  • Help maintain the existing platform’s front-end (Angular) and build new features using Vue.js
  • Maintain our UI Kit libraries and ensure a great development experience on our development platform
